What are CPT and OPT?
We are the only agency in the United States that helps our students with CPT (Curricular Practical Training) and OPT (Optional Practical Training).
CPT is a regional occupational program optional employment opportunity available to F-1 students where the training is considered to be an integral part of the curriculum or academic program. This employment may be an internship or any other work experience that is required for your degree.
OPT is temporary employment authorization that gives F-1 students an opportunity to apply knowledge gained in the classroom to practical work experience off campus. You can use some or all of the available twelve months of practical training during your course of study, or you can save the full twelve months to use after you complete your studies.
